Israelis who prioritize the rescue of hostages have clashed with Israelis who believe that the IDF completely removing Hamas from power should be the priority.

All in all, the coalition gained two seats, adding up to 46 total, while the opposition went down to 74, still making up a sizable majority of the Knesset’s 120. 

“I wasn't able to find anything to suggest that attitudes towards work and career are actually related to the year in which someone was born," said Sociology Professor Martin Schröder.

A stable majority of Jewish Israelis (60%) said they opposed a deal that would secure the release of the hostages held in Gaza at the price of freeing all of the Palestinian security prisoners.

43% of respondents aged 18-24 explicitly answered that in this conflict, they support Hamas more than Israel. 

A vast majority of Jewish Israelis believe that the IDF is using an appropriate amount or not enough force, while half of Arab Israelis say it's using too much.

According to the poll, a reservists’ party headed by Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli (Likud) would win eight seats.

Although 73% of US Jewish college students have experienced or witnessed antisemitism since start of the 2023-2024 school year, only one university has adopted the IHRA working definition in 2023.

Despite the schism, there was agreement between both groups that the best way to secure the release of the hostages was by exerting military pressure on Hamas.

This “old guard” is telling us nonstop that Israel is losing the war with Hamas, cannot win against Hamas or Hezbollah, and does not have the societal strength to survive long wars.
