Naftali Bennett is an Israeli politician and the country’s 13th prime minister.
The son of American immigrants, Bennett grew up in Haifa. He and his wife Gilat live in Ra’anana with their four children.
After his IDF service in the Maglan Commando Brigade and the General Staff Reconnaissance Unit, Bennett ventured into software entrepreneurship, heading various companies that sold out for over $100 million.
He surfaced on the scene of Israeli politics in 2006 as chief of staff for Benjamin Netanyahu.
After leading both the Jewish Home and Yamina parties and serving in various ministerial positions, Bennett was sworn in on June 13, 2021 as Israel's 13th prime minister in a rotation government with Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid.
Under the rotation government, Bennett would serve as prime minister until 2023, and Lapid would assume the role until 2025.
Bennett also charged that international pressure on Israel has the counterproductive consequence of extending the suffering of Gazans by delaying an end to the war.
Recent reports demonstrate that the ability to reject news reports is being used and abused, both for political gain and by giving preferential treatment to one publication over another.
"The thunder of our fighter jets will deafen the needless chatter," Gallant told Israeli forces. "This is imperative...and will allow the IDF to safely carry out its missions."
Bennett, who was Israeli prime minister from 13 June 2021 to 30 June 2022, admitted Israel was behind attacking an Iranian base and the assassination of a senior IRGC commander.

Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer defended the decision as "critical" citing the need for continued American support.
According to the survey, conducted by Dr. Menachem Lazar, should Bennett decide to run independently, he is predicted to clinch 16 mandates.
