Half of Hamas in Rafah beaten, IDF will gain full control in two weeks

The IDF also revealed that the houses and tunnels in Rafah had new kinds of defenses and boobytraps, with some houses having video surveillance in each room of the given house to facilitate ambushes.

The IDF said that its Division 162 has defeated half of Hamas’s battalions in Rafah and will be in full control of the area in the next two weeks. 

According to the IDF, over 550 terrorists were killed and over 200 tunnels were destroyed.

The Islamic State terrorist organization planned a shooting attack on Real Madrid fans and players, the newspaper 'El Confidencial' revealed on Monday.

The attack, planned on Santiago Bernabeu, was thwarted by the FBI, Europol, and the Spanish Civil Guard.

Nine people from an ISIS cell were arrested in the joint operation by the FBI and Europol, including residents from Girona, Cadiz, and Almeria.

The plan reportedly included shooting the team bus of Real Madrid players when it arrived at the stadium.

Palestinian Authority at risk of collapse, Norway says

The Palestinian Authority could collapse in the coming months, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide said on Monday, citing a lack of funding, continuing violence and the fact that half a million Palestinians are not allowed to work in Israel.

"The Palestinian Authority, with whom we work closely, are warning us that they might be collapsing this summer," Barth Eide told Reuters.

Norway chairs the international donor group to the Palestinians and is a backer of the PA.
