In honor of his 22nd birthday, the family of hostage Almog Meir Jan, together with Israeli fashion company Renuar and artist Koketit (Shira Barzilay), released a collection of shirts with the tattoo engraved on Almog's arm, "ALIVE."
The collection will be sold on the Renuar website, with all profits being donated to the families of the hostages.
Almog Meir Jan was supposed to start the job of his dreams at a high-tech company immediately after Simchat Torah if it weren't for the Hamas massacre.
He wanted to celebrate the beginning of this chapter in his life with friends at the Nova nature party near Reim. At 7:45 that morning he managed to call his mother and tell her that he was hiding.
According to evidence, Almog tried to escape in a vehicle from the party area with 3 of his friends, but the vehicle was hit by a shot in their direction and the four of them escaped from the vehicle.
Everyone in the car was murdered and Almog was kidnapped. His family is constantly working for his return home.
Almog's mother says that Almog loves fashion and the connection between Renuar and the tattoo "ALIVE" strengthens the meaning of life in this period. The family loves and misses Almog and looks forward to his return home.
