Israeli housing prices drop slightly, costs rise elsewhere

Housing prices in Israel dropped 0.2% between January and February compared to December and January, but represent a 12.7% increase from this same period in 2022, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics consumer price index released on Friday.

Prices in Israel increased by 0.4% in March 2023, having risen by 5% altogether since March 2022, with notable price rises including clothing and shoes, which rose by 4.1%.

However, fruit prices dropped by 2.8% and furniture dropped by 1.6%.
