US presidential nominee Dr. Jill Stein was arrested Saturday at a pro-Palestinian protest at Washington University in St. Louis, according to Stein’s X account, which showed a video of her being arrested.

Stein is seen at the protest being taken away by police. According to a report in The Telegraph, the demonstration was meant to protest the university’s ties with Boeing, which sells military equipment to Israel, and to call for the boycott of Israeli academia.

“We’re going to stand here in line with the students who are standing up for democracy, standing up for human rights, standing up to end genocide,” she said in a video shared prior to her arrest.

Also arrested were Stein’s campaign manager, Jason Call, and her deputy campaign manager, Kelly Merrill-Cayer.

Stein’s X account also claimed that she and others had attempted to de-escalate the situation with police before law enforcement began arresting protesters on the site.

Video footage also depicted what Stein’s X account claimed was police brutality inflicted against her and others.
