The couple in their 60s were looking for an investment apartment. They found a great design gem in the Andromeda complex in Jaffa. A charming, compact apartment of 65 square meters. They turned to the interior designer Shai David to design and adapt the apartment, when at the beginning their request was - an investment apartment. So the involvement was completely business.

At the same time and during the process, the couple realized that this apartment would be used as their holiday apartment. The location near the sea, the pastoral place and especially quality couple time on the weekends and generally when you feel like it. At that time they lived in a spacious apartment in Givatayim, measuring 200 square meters. So the requests from the designer changed during the process, and the goal changed from an investment apartment to a vacation home.

Meanwhile, the designer decided to place parquet throughout the apartment, which will provide a touch of warmth. The chosen color is pure white, wood, and touches of gray, in order to give the sea that can be seen from all sides the full stage.

In light of the fact that the house is small in dimensions, every cm was used in an optimal and practical way. The compact kitchen includes an island with 4 bar stools around it, which are used by the couple. It was decided not to place a dining area, in order not to overload the house. Next to the dining area, a small niche was planned In favor of a work area. The living room includes a luxurious white sofa, with two comfortable armchairs next to it, and a light and airy bookcase. The lighting fixtures chosen are light and do not burden the space.

The stunning balcony with the arabesque style coverings reminds us of Jaffa in a wonderful way. Also on the balcony are seating areas in different and light styles, which allow for entertaining and informal sitting. The bedroom also continues the white color, with a storage closet across the room and in the center a small niche that also serves as a work area. The toilets are also covered in arabesque style, adding great grace to the design.

According to Shay David, "From there, and over time, the couple fell in love with the stunning apartment. Today, they spend and live in it 100% of their time. The apartment in Givatayim was rented out, and the apartment in Jaffa, which was originally intended for investment, became a vacation apartment, and is now the couple's permanent home. According to them, the feeling It's about freedom all year round."
