A garden apartment in Ramat Hasharon that was transformed from a standard contractor's apartment into a design harmony based on the purity of modern classics. The couple, in their 60s whose children have grown out of the nest, asked for a cozy corner that would be adapted to their current needs - a public space with a large space that allows all family members to host their children and grandchildren - an open space that will allow eye contact between the outside and the inside and include an intimate and family dining area that can expand it to a large number of diners. The request was for a classic, minimalist look with clean lines and a range of modern raw materials.

The couple asked to leave the floor exposed so that it would allow free maneuvering between small children running and playing and the movement of a baby carriage/playpen. The floor of the house is covered with large tiles simulating natural marble stone in shades of gray that give the house a classic and luxurious atmosphere. The conversion space, the dining area and the kitchen share a common space without any separation between them, when each area receives a unique design touch that defines and delineates it and differentiates it from the other areas and at the same time corresponds with them as one unit.

Between the modern living room and the clean lines of the kitchen, the dining area stands out, boasting a three-dimensional wallpaper wall and a decorative glass cabinet that incorporates bronze mirror doors and subtle hidden lighting. The cabinet, manufactured by the Delkov company on a special order according to an architectural drawing, gives a reminder of the showcase cabinets that were used in the past, and today they are back in a trendy and fashionable version.

"It was very important for me to emphasize a family motif specifically in the dining area," interior designer Pindi Ben Ari Shamai explains to us, "the living room and kitchen are characterized by modern, minimalist lines and the dining area where the family gathers for Shabbat and holiday meals is the ideal place to emphasize the aspect The family and togetherness of the household. With the help of Delkov, the wardrobes have become not only clothes but decorative cabinets that occupy a respectable position in the design of the public space - whether it is as cabinets on the TV wall, bar cabinets or display cabinets as we see in this dining area With the smoked glass doors and the hidden lighting, they are the modern answer to the display cabinets from Grandma's house - and there is nothing wonderful about that, both on a design level and certainly on a functional level."

The couple wanted to apply the maximum indulgence in the bedroom area by means of a luxurious and spacious bed and next to it a large and accessible bathroom. The master bedroom enjoys an amazing view of a green garden and blue sky," and here," explains Pindi, "I felt the need to deepen the experience of the view by using a mirror cabinet (also from Delkov) that will reflect the magical garden on the other side of the bedroom and serve as a reflector Reflects light to the natural lighting viewed from the outside."

The ability to make dual-purpose use of wall cabinets provides a wonderful solution both in the design aspect and its contribution as furniture to the space, and in the functional aspect at the storage level. The bathroom is also covered with marble-like tiles with a classic European look and the shower enclosure with wood-imitating tiles in a spa atmosphere. The combination between the light marble tiles and the Corian cabinet create a restrained and elegant look.

The entire outdoor area has been treated in a way that will allow optimal accommodation with an outdoor kitchenette, dining area and sitting area and of course garden spaces that will allow the grandchildren to run around and play in the open space freely. This apartment is a great combination between a design concept that conveys classicism and luxury and functional functionality and intensive entertaining of family members.
