Big News! SACARA is stepping up to provide Israeli consumers with significantly higher-quality makeup than previous collections. Despite the increased prices, they remain affordable, ensuring that everyone can enjoy them. The new collection includes 12 different categories with dozens of new and trendy shades, all featuring professional-grade formulas.

What does this mean? We spoke with Ido Levi, SACARA's VP of Marketing, who explained the differences between the regular products and those in the new collection:

"The difference in texture is immediately noticeable when consumers try the product. It’s evident that very high-quality base ingredients have been incorporated, creating an entirely different texture. While some of our previous products had a less saturated texture, the new formulas blend perfectly with the skin."

Levi continued, "The new collection was developed over two years, with a focus on using high-quality silica powder for optimally soft textures and the best mica powder for even and long-lasting coverage. We've also elevated the use of pigments—they are highly color-saturated, requiring only a small amount for significant results. Sometimes, I see on TikTok how people use our products and are surprised by their strength, realizing they need to blend more. It made me think we might have overdone the pigment a bit," he joked.

The products were developed with the help of professional makeup artists who tailored the collection to global trends, Israeli customer preferences, and market demands. Michelle Edri, Sapir Sabag, Noa Sulmtan, and other experts were involved in selecting the precise shades, ensuring even a blush (No. 03) comparable to Chanel's.

"As a brand, it's important for us to continue offering products that provide good value for money," noted Levi. "The ability to offer a very high-quality product at a very accessible price is crucial."

What about the prices? Are they higher?

"Yes, the prices are higher. For instance, an old blush costs NIS 10, while the new one is NIS 25. However, Anna Zak's tint remains at NIS 22, and the new tint will also be NIS 22. Anna Zak's cream blush was NIS 22, and the new one will be NIS 25. A set of 12 eyeshadows was NIS 18, and the new 8-shadow palette in the new formula will be NIS 39."

That’s quite a jump.

"On one hand, yes, but not for all products. Plus, the quantity of material is much larger, and the quality is significantly higher. It’s a jump, but we’ve had these prices in other collections. Anna Zak’s eyeshadows were already NIS 39, and the new ones offer improvements in formula and shades, even compared to those."
