White has been a dominant color in home design for many years. Although design trends periodically shift, pushing the classic white aside in favor of bolder colors and textures, white remains a timeless choice. Interior designer Sally Cheprak Avisror reveals the enduring charm of white in home decor, even in households with children and pets where white was previously avoided.

"While trendy colors change from season to season, white is always in style and suits any home. It complements a wide range of colors and trends that come and go. Choosing white shades can also influence the natural light entering a room. Light colors like white can enhance lighting, creating a sense of importance and spaciousness in the space, providing a unique look and feel both in the morning and evening."

How to Incorporate Timeless White into Home InteriorsTextures: To breathe life into a space designed with white tones, incorporating a variety of textures is crucial. Using a broad range of textures brings vibrancy to the room.

Material Combinations: Combining different materials in the room design opens up the space and makes the white color appear as a variety of shades.

Rugs: Rugs play a significant role in home decor. Opting for white rugs ensures that the white theme extends to the floor, not just the walls, flooring, furniture, and accessories. High-pile rugs are recommended to differentiate them from the floor and other room furnishings, creating defined boundaries within the space.

White-on-White Integration: Combining various shades of white creates an integration of different colors, while the space itself maintains a clean, seamless white appearance. This approach adds depth and enhances the visual space.

Dirt? Not a Problem for White: Many people, especially families with young children or pets, hesitate to use white due to its perceived susceptibility to dirt and damage. In reality, modern high-quality materials and advanced cleaning products make white one of the easiest colors to maintain. Its inherent nature makes it less prone to food stains or dirt typically brought into the home by children or pets.
